"I am loving the process that Betsy guides us through in our MasterMind group. It's forcing me to dig deeper, ask tougher questions and face things I may have skirted over had I been writing on my own. The process is also becoming a beautiful container for greater inspiration to flow. I am remembering moments and events that I had forgotten that I definitely want to include in the story! Thank you so much, Betsy, for the expertise and for the love and support. You provide a perfect balance of honest feedback and cheerleading as I move through raw vulnerability toward authentic expression."
“Betsy Chasse has been an invaluable partner in bringing my book to life. For years, I had considered writing about my inspiring journey. When I heard Betsy say that she would be working with a group of women who wanted to write their book, I knew this would be my opportunity to finally make it happen. Writing a book is often described as a solitary journey, yet Betsy and our group made it a collaborative adventure. Betsy’s expertise transformed what could have been an overwhelming ordeal into a manageable and enriching experience. She has guided and assisted me through every phase of the process—writing, editing, and publishing. I’m grateful for her help in making my dream a reality.”
"Betsy Chasse is the real deal! She is so much more than an award-winning filmmaker and best-selling author; she’s a fantastic mentor. With Betsy’s guidance, I transformed a story in my head into a published book in less than a year! Betsy's Writing Workshop is a must for anyone who has ever wanted to write their story or novel but didn’t know how to get started."

As someone who has walked the challenging road of caregiving, I understand the emotional and physical toll it takes—whether you're supporting a parent with dementia or a loved one with a chronic illness. It can feel overwhelming, isolating, and all-consuming. Many of us have experienced what’s often referred to as “caregiver syndrome.” While not officially recognized in medical literature, those who have lived it know just how real and exhausting it can be.
That’s why I’m excited to invite you to contribute to a heartfelt and empowering book:
Voices of Care: Real Stories to Inspire, Uplift, and Unite Caregivers—a collection of real-life stories from caregivers, for caregivers.
We are seeking honest, inspiring contributions that shine a light on the caregiving experience, particularly for those supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Your story could be the comfort, encouragement, or insight another caregiver needs.

Why We Write Our Wounds
Why do we feast on other people’s trauma—raw, trembling, bloody on the page? Because when we taste their sorrow, we taste our own. Their wounds mirror ours, and for a fleeting moment, we no longer feel so unbearably alone.
This new collaborative book will be a collection of essays from writers who are ready to share a specific trauma they’ve lived through, and reflect on how speaking it aloud has reshaped them. Not as stories of rescue, but as stories of witness.
Together, these essays will become a lantern-lit archive of survival, reminding us that while no one can carry another through the fire, we can light the way with our scars.
